Christine Kelley Karel has a versatile background in opera, musical theater, comedy improvisation, cabaret and the legitimate stage, including Off-Broadway. Some of Ms. Karel's performing venues include vocal soloist for the Compania de la Danza Narciso in the Works & Process Series at the Guggenheim Museum in New York City, featured soloist at the Cabaret Convention at Town Hall in New York City, Dallas Summer Musicals, Indianapolis Starlight Theatre and the Waldorf Astoria in New York City. THE KARELS, the cabaret act she does with her husband, Chuck Karel, has been performed in New York City and throughout the country.

Christine Kelley Karel is a dead-ringer impersonator of Hillary Clinton, known as "The Singing Hillary Clinton." As "Hillary", Christine has performed numerous times on television, including Conan O'Brien, soap operas and a variety of news and human interest programs. With her dead-on impersonation of Hillary Clinton, sharp improv skills, customized writing and clean, corporate, sensitive comedy Christine has worked in the corporate arena for many Fortune 500 companies including Ortho Pharmaceuticals, Information Systems Inc., Good Morning America Publicists and Cornell University School of Industrial and Labor Relations in projects ranging from movies, industrial films, training videos, trade shows performing in live corporate theater and interactive comedy shows, as a speaker, host and emcee.

In opera she has performed over 20 lead roles, including those in Madama Butterfly, Pagliacci, Otello, La Boheme, Don Giovanni and Amahl and the Night Visitors. On the legitimate stage, she appeared with Rock Hudson, Claire Trevor and Leif Erickson in John Brown's Body, directed by John Houseman, as well as lead roles in Camelot, The Most Happy Fella, Kiss Me Kate, Mame, Guys and Dolls, She Loves Me and Jacques Brel, among others. Other legitimate roles include Lady Anne in Richard III, Maggie in Shadow Box and Honey in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf. Christine also performed the role of Rosalinda in Tales from the Manhattan Woods, a modern adaptation of Die Fledermaus for Opera New York.
